Rolling Backwards, the second single and title track from the album, is a fast-paced charged bluesy Hard Rock song about politicians, their lies and deceit, and how the world is Rolling Backwards.
“The title track “Rolling Backwards” and “Losing Time” are two clear cut examples of the band bringing an unbridled energy that was manifesting in the ’70s and was kept alive in the ’80s.” Jamie Funk – Divide and Conquer
Drysdale station is the first single from ‘Rolling Backwards’ with a Folky-Bluesy Rock feel. The song start slow and quiet with acoustic guitar picking. Eventually the energy builds to a climatic double-time improvised solo section before the last chorus.
The song is based on a true story about a disastrous trip in the remote Kimberly of North Western Australia. Our wheel fell off our camper and we got stuck in a Catttle Station (Drysdale River Station) with nothing to do but argue with the hire company via a phone in an old fridge.
“particularly memorable as in the acoustic picking on ‘Dysdale Station’, which is very Joe Bonamassa” Stuart Hamilton, The Rocker
